Barcodes are the invisible backbone of global trade. Every time you hear a "beep" at the supermarket checkout, a barcode has just done its job.
The Barcode Generator allows businesses to create these codes instantly for their products.
Which format do I need?
EAN-13 (International Retail)
The standard for products sold globally (except USA/Canada). It has 13 digits.
UPC-A (USA Retail)
The standard in North America. It has 12 digits. If you want to sell on Amazon US or Walmart, you need this.
Code 128 (Logistics & Shipping)
A super-versatile code. Unlike EAN/UPC which only store numbers, Code 128 can store letters and symbols (ASCII). It's used for shipping labels (FedEx/UPS) and inventory tracking.
Vector (SVG) vs Raster (PNG)
For printing on packaging, always use SVG. It creates crisp lines that never blur, ensuring the scanner reads it perfectly. If the lines are fuzzy (because of a low-res JPG), the checkout scanner will struggle.
